Magesh
is originally from Chennai, India. He attended the University of
Madras where he graduated with an integrated Masters in
Polymers. His research work in probing polymers and behavior of
other materials earned him a PhD in Polymer Science in 2005 from
the University of Connecticut. Interested in pursuing a career
in technology management and finance, he joined the full-time
MBA program at UConn in 2006. In the MBA program, Magesh is
pursuing a major in Finance and Operations Management, and spent
the summer of 2007 interning in edgelab, developing a new market
entry strategy for next generation lighting products for GE
Lighting. As a manager for the Student Managed Fund, he oversees
the Materials sector.
