Jorge Garcia, originally from Milford, CT, is seventh semester finance major in the Honors Program at the University of Connecticut.  This past summer Jorge interned at Northeast Utilities as a Student Analyst in the Treasury Department.  While at school, Jorge participates in various intramural sports as well as in academic organizations such as Finance Society.  Upon graduation, Jorge hopes to pursue a career in either investment banking or asset management.  In addition, Jorge also hopes to further his education by achieving his MBA as well as his CFA designation; in order to accomplish his goal of one day becoming a portfolio manager.
